2025 Easter Celebration

Join us on Easter Sunday, April 20th, for our Easter Celebration. Beginning at 9 a.m. we'll have crafts and games, Easter lesson, and Easter Egg Hunt. All are welcome!

LEER (Ley-EHR) 
Children's Literacy Program

McCurdy's LEER program has begun to receive book donations, and they need help to sort the books in age appropriate levels. They have the technology and labels. If you are interested in volunteering contact Kercida McClain at kercida@mccurdy.org. You can also donate new or gently used children's books.

Walk to Emmaus Event

Plans are now underway for a spring men's walk, April 24-27, 2025 and women's walk, May 15-18. The walk to Emmaus is a spiritual weekend retreat, where just the disciples on there walk to Emmaus, you will grow your faith along with Jesus. Applications are online at https://newmexicoemmaus.org/.

Our next book will be We Are Not Called to Be Bystanders by Linda Sarsour. May 18, will be our next discussion. There are 2 copies in the United Women in Faith library at the church and a Hoopla audiobook at Mesa Public library.

Community Food Pantry

Our community food pantry is receiving a lot use, we are grateful for all the generous donations from our community. We except donations at time. Donation suggestions: ●Shelf-stable milk ●Canned fruit, vegetables, beans, meat and soup with pop tops ●Packaged meals, such as Macaroni and Cheese, Rice-a-roni, or Tuna Helper ●Individually packaged snacks (granola bars, nuts, dried fruit, cheese and crackers…)
